DHL Express (MyDHL API): Rates, Labels, Customs & Pickups

What it does

For stores that ship with their own DHL Express account. The core DHL module of CS-Cart (4.21.2 included) still calls DHL's legacy XML-PI interface, which DHL Express has deprecated in favour of the MyDHL API (integrators report this for non-enterprise accounts from June 2025). This add-on integrates with the MyDHL API, the REST interface DHL offers instead, as a new carrier: your existing methods are left alone and you create DHL Express methods per product (Express Worldwide, Economy Select, Express 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, Domestic) or "best available".

How it works

Enter your MyDHL API user and password, account number and ship-from address on the Connection page, test in the DHL test environment, then go live. Add DHL Express shipping methods with an optional handling fee. On each order the DHL Express tab creates the label (PDF or ZPL), optionally with a courier pickup, and offers the downloads, tracking and a duties and taxes estimate. Labels can also be created automatically at an order status.

Compatibility
