What it does

For makers, vintage and supply shops that run CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor and also sell on Etsy. The add-on integrates with the Etsy Open API v3 through your own free Etsy app: you sign in once, the connection renews itself. It lists your products on Etsy, keeps quantities and prices current, imports paid Etsy receipts as CS-Cart orders and sends tracking numbers back, so one stock and one order list serve both channels.

How it works

Create a seller app on Etsy, enter its keystring and shared secret and connect your shop with Etsy sign-in. Load your shipping profile, map categories, add products and run the sync. Orders and tracking follow on the cron schedule; failed steps are retried and shown with Etsy's answer in the log. The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Retry waits after a failed step were far too long: a tracking number Etsy did not accept for a temporary reason, an order event received while the shop was disconnected and a product sync stopped by a missing currency rate waited 10 to 60 hours before the next try. They now retry after 10 minutes (or after the wait Etsy asks for), 10 minutes and 1 hour. Update to get orders and tracking moving again sooner; no settings change.
Listing text: corrected the trademark notice.
A listing whose create answer was lost (timeout after Etsy saved the draft) is linked again and now also gets its SKU, quantity, images, properties and the publish step; before, it stayed an empty draft until the next stock change.
Category search showed every level of an Etsy category twice ("Home & Living > Home & Living > ..."); it now shows the path once.
Order status: Etsy's "shipped" that follows your own tracking number no longer moves an order you already set to Complete back; Etsy status changes move only orders you have not changed yourself (cancellations and full refunds always follow).
A receipt cancelled or refunded on Etsy shows "Not needed" in the shipment column and never gets a tracking number sent.
Receipts that are open or in payment processing are never placed through the webhook or the retry pass; a failed import that Etsy cancelled since is no longer read again every hour.
An import interrupted inside the order placement (an order row without products) is removed and placed again instead of being adopted as an empty order; an order left at "Incomplete" gets the import status.
Saving a product mapping again keeps its Etsy listing id and, for a product already on Etsy, its SKU.
The Etsy authorization link is shown only to administrators who may change the connection, and its signature no longer uses the cron key.
Connecting a different Etsy shop resets the listing links, the SKU cache and the order cursor of the previous shop (logged).

Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. No breaking changes.

Integration with the Etsy Open API v3 through the merchant's own Etsy app: keystring and shared secret stored encrypted, OAuth 2.0 sign-in with PKCE, automatic token renewal under a lock, account paused (no further calls) when Etsy rejects the authorization.
Listings: Etsy seller taxonomy and property mapping, draft listings with SKU, price, quantity, up to 10 images, tags, shipping / return / processing profile; optional publishing; never created twice (pending marker, SKU lookup, draft adoption after a lost answer).
Stock and price sync through the listing inventory (other variations kept), with the hub's price and stock rules.
Paid receipts imported once as CS-Cart orders (record before work, per-receipt lock, adoption of an interrupted import), Etsy sale date, notes with buyer note, gift message and personalization; status follows Etsy.
Tracking numbers sent to Etsy once per order with the Etsy carrier name.
Optional signed webhooks (order events), job queue with retries respecting Etsy rate limits, log with CSV export.

Do I need to pay Etsy for API access?

No. The developer app is free. Etsy's usual listing and transaction fees apply to your shop as always.

Which Etsy app type should I create?

A Seller App for your own shop (approved within minutes). If you connect shops of other sellers, create a Personal App and request Commercial Access (Etsy reviews it).

Will it publish listings and cost me fees?

Only if you switch on "Publish new listings". By default new listings are drafts you check and publish on Etsy.

Is there a test mode?

Etsy has no sandbox. Keep "Publish new listings" off and test with drafts on your own shop.

Can an order be imported twice?

No. Each receipt is recorded before its order is placed and locked while it is processed; repeated syncs, parallel cron runs and webhooks are safe, and the links survive an uninstall by default.

Why does an order have an address like [email protected]?

Etsy shares the buyer's e-mail address only with apps it approved for it. The order keeps the Etsy receipt number in its notes.

What about Etsy variations?

A CS-Cart product is one Etsy listing. If you add variations on Etsy, give each variation the SKU of a CS-Cart product; that variation then gets its stock and price.

Can vendors use their own Etsy shops?

Yes: switch off Marketplace owner mode. Each vendor connects their own app and shop and lists only their own products.

Does it work with the full page cache of CS-Cart 4.21?

Yes. The add-on adds nothing to storefront pages; its public addresses (callback, webhook, cron) are not cached pages.
