What it does
For merchants with a Walmart US seller account who run their catalogue in CS-Cart or a Multi-Vendor marketplace. Walmart Marketplace is a sales channel: the add-on creates offers for items that already exist in the Walmart catalog (matched by GTIN), so your products need a valid barcode. Version 1.0 covers Walmart US, seller fulfilled orders.
How it works
Enter your client ID and secret in test mode and run the connection test. Map a CS-Cart category, set price and stock rules, then map products by barcode. New Walmart orders become CS-Cart orders; when you create a shipment with a tracking number it is sent to Walmart. Throttled or failed calls are retried automatically and visible in the log.

You create the API key pair yourself: in Seller Center open the API Integration page, choose API Key Management (you are signed in to the Walmart Developer Portal with your Seller Center login) and copy the Client ID and Client Secret of your key pair. Walmart's documentation lists a separate dynamic sandbox for testing; it needs its own sandbox credentials, because production credentials cannot be used there (see the Walmart developer documentation for how to request them)

Connection with your own Walmart API key pair (client ID and secret) stored encrypted, access token exchange with the required Walmart headers, test mode on the Walmart sandbox and live mode, connection test.
Offers created for items that already exist in the Walmart catalog (MP_ITEM_MATCH feed, matched by GTIN), the result read back per SKU; stock and price pushed per SKU with price rules and stock buffer.
Order import (seller fulfilled): pagination, automatic acknowledge, cancelled lines left out, status follow; tracking numbers sent with Ship Order Lines (known carriers and other carriers with tracking URL); cancel lines with Walmart's reasons.
Returns listed read only and linked to the imported order.
Walmart throttling headers read, 429 answers retried; job queue with back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.

Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one Walmart account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Do I need to be a Walmart developer or pay for API access?
You use the API key pair of your own Walmart seller account (Seller Center, API Integration, API Key Management); Walmart documents this for sellers. There is no Kavio Labs account in the middle: your keys stay in your store. Walmart also documents a solution provider path for approved providers; this add-on does not use it.
Which Walmart sites?
Walmart US in 1.0. Canada and Mexico are separate Walmart markets with their own hosts and item specs and are not part of this version.
Can it create brand new items on Walmart?
Not in 1.0. It creates offers for items that already exist in the Walmart catalog, matched by GTIN (feed type MP_ITEM_MATCH). If the GTIN is not found, the product shows Walmart's message and you create the item in Seller Center.
Does it support Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)?
No. It handles seller fulfilled orders. Returns are listed read only; refunds are issued in Seller Center.
Why is price sync slow on a big catalog?
Walmart allows 100 single price updates per hour for default accounts and 200 inventory updates per minute. The add-on spaces its calls and retries when Walmart answers 429, so the first full sync of a large catalog takes time.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Where are my credentials stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving.
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to Walmart only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
What happens when Walmart is down?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new syncs or order imports). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
