Built for
Kaufland Marketplace Connector: List products by EAN, sync stock and price and import orders and returns from your own Kaufland seller account1 of 8
What it does
Kaufland runs a marketplace for sellers in Germany, Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Austria, with further storefronts in the Seller API. If you run a CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor store and want Kaufland as an additional sales channel, this add-on connects your own Kaufland seller account to your shop through the Kaufland Marketplace Seller API. You choose the storefront on the connection page.
How it works
Create an API key pair in the Kaufland Seller Portal, enter it on the connection page and test it in the Kaufland Playground first. Map categories and attributes, set markup and stock buffer. The sync sends product data for new EANs, creates units, pushes stock and price and reads the result. Orders are imported once, shipments mark the order units as sent with carrier and tracking, returns can be accepted. Failed jobs retry automatically.
Features
Your own Kaufland API keys (Client Key and Secret Key), requests signed with HMAC-SHA256, the Secret Key stored encrypted
Test mode on the Kaufland Playground and live mode, one-click connection test
Category and attribute mapping from the Kaufland category tree, shared-set values matched by label, markup and brand per category
Units created by EAN on existing Kaufland products, product data sent first for new EANs, a readable reason per refused product
Stock and price as bulk unit updates (150 per call) with the result per unit, price endings and a stock buffer
Order import without duplicates: buyer, delivery and billing address, company name, prices as sold, waits for the addresses
Carrier code and tracking per order unit, status follow, cancellation with the Kaufland reasons, return units accepted
Optional push notifications and an optional EU product safety contact (GPSR) for listed products
Storefronts de, cz, sk, pl, at, fr, it, es and nl with the matching currency (EUR, CZK, PLN)
Job queue with automatic retries and a log with filters and CSV export; Multi-Vendor: one account or one per vendor

Requirements
Platform
CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later (4.21.x supported)
Requirement
Administrator access to the store's admin panel
Requirement
A Kaufland seller account with API access. In the Kaufland Seller Portal (API settings) create a key pair: a Client Key (32 characters) and a Secret Key. The same pair works for the live API and for the Playground
Requirement
For test mode: the Kaufland Seller API Playground must be activated for your account by Kaufland (Kaufland states this can take up to two weeks). The Playground is an isolated environment with test data; it offers units, orders, shipments, returns and subscriptions, but no product data, categories, attributes or carriers
Requirement
In the Seller Portal: at least one shipping group (its ID is optional on the Connection page; without it Kaufland uses your default shipping group) and your storefront(s) activated
Requirement
Products with a valid EAN as the barcode and images that are reachable from the internet (Kaufland downloads them)
Requirement
A public https address for your store if you want push notifications
Requirement
A cron job on your server (see step 6)
Core changes
None. Hooks and template overrides only

Added 11
Initial release on the Marketplace Hub.
Your own Kaufland API keys (Client Key and Secret Key): every request signed with HMAC-SHA256 (Shop-Client-Key, Shop-Timestamp, Shop-Signature), the Secret Key stored encrypted, test mode on the Kaufland Seller API Playground and live mode, connection test.
Storefronts de, cz, sk, pl, at, fr, it, es and nl with the matching currency (EUR, CZK, PLN) and product data locale.
Category tree and category and attribute mapping (shared-set values matched by label), price rules, stock buffer, handling time.
Listing by EAN: a unit is created at once on a product that exists in the Kaufland catalogue; for a new EAN the product data is sent first and the unit follows when Kaufland reports the product ready (status polled, readable reasons per product). Optional EU product safety contact (GPSR).
Stock and price as bulk unit updates (150 per call) with the result per unit.
Order import from order units (buyer, delivery and billing address, company name, prices as sold, units of one product merged into one line); an order waits until Kaufland has added the addresses.
Carrier code (matched against the Kaufland carrier list, else Other) and tracking number per order unit, status follow, cancellation with the Kaufland cancel reasons, return units accepted from the admin.
Optional push notifications: subscription registration with the callback challenge, signed notifications verified, events only wake the importer up.
Job queue with retries and back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.
Multi-Vendor: marketplace owner mode or one Kaufland account per vendor.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. First release.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one Kaufland account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Where are my credentials stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving.
Do I need my own Kaufland API keys?
Yes. You create a Client Key and a Secret Key in the Kaufland Seller Portal (API settings) and enter them on the Connection page. The add-on never uses a shared key.
Is there a test environment?
Kaufland offers the Seller API Playground: isolated test data with the same keys, activated on request (Kaufland says up to two weeks). It has units, orders, shipments, returns and subscriptions but no product data, categories, attributes or carriers, so test mode reads those from the live API (read only) and never sends product data.
Why is an EAN required?
Kaufland builds offers on products identified by EAN. The barcode of the mapped product is the EAN of the product data and of the unit.
Which Kaufland countries are supported?
The storefronts of the Kaufland Seller API: de, cz, sk, pl, at, fr, it, es and nl. You pick one per account on the Connection page; currency and product data language follow it. Which of them you may actually sell in depends on your seller contract with Kaufland.
Does it send invoices?
Not in version 1.0. The buyer's billing data is imported into the CS-Cart order.
Does it need a webhook?
No. Push notifications are optional; the scheduled job reads orders and returns on every sync.
Is it endorsed by Kaufland?
No. It uses the public Kaufland Marketplace Seller API under your own seller account.
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to Kaufland only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
What happens when Kaufland is down?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new documents, rates, syncs or payments). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
Add a released add-on to this order and save 15% on it. It uses the same edition and store domain.
