Built for
Mexico CFDI 4.0 e-Invoicing: CFDI 4.0 invoices, credit notes and global invoices from your orders, stamped by your own Facturama or Facturapi account1 of 8
What it does
For online stores in Mexico that must send CFDI 4.0 invoices. A PAC (Proveedor Autorizado de Certificacion) is the authorised provider that seals and stamps the invoice; you keep your own PAC account and certificates, the add-on prepares and sends the data. Works with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.
How it works
Connect your PAC account in test mode and enter your issuer data. Set the SAT keys on products or categories. An order with an RFC gets its CFDI at the status you choose; other orders go into the global invoice. Credit notes follow refunds, cancellations use the SAT motives 01 to 04. Failed jobs are retried and listed in the log.
Features
Credentials stored encrypted, separate test and live mode, one-click connection test
Job queue with automatic retries and a log with filters and CSV export
Works with cron (command line or secret address), no long requests during checkout
Multi-Vendor: one marketplace account or one account and issuer per vendor
Ingreso, Egreso (credit note, whole or partial) and global invoice for the general public
Cancellation with the SAT motives 01 to 04, including cancellations that wait for the receiver
RFC, legal name, postal code, regime and CFDI use as profile and checkout fields
SAT product and unit keys per product and category; IVA 16%, 8%, 0%, exempt, IEPS; MXN and other currencies with the exchange rate
XML validated against the SAT schema before sending; fiscal folio, stamped XML and printable copy with QR code
The XML is attached to the order e-mails CS-Cart already sends; no extra e-mails

Initial release.
CFDI 4.0 Ingreso invoices from orders, Egreso credit notes (whole or partial, on refund status or by hand) and global invoices (factura global) for orders without an RFC, with daily, weekly, 15-day, monthly and two-month periods.
Cancellation with the SAT motives 01 to 04, replacement CFDI for motive 01, cancellations that wait for the receiver.
Customer fiscal data (RFC, legal name, fiscal postal code, tax regime, CFDI use) as profile and checkout fields; RFC format check; editable on the order page.
SAT keys per product and category (ClaveProdServ, ClaveUnidad, IVA 16 / 8 / 0 / exempt / not subject, optional IEPS); MXN and foreign currencies with the exchange rate.
XML built per Anexo 20 and validated against the SAT schema (shipped) before sending; stamped XML, fiscal folio (UUID) and a printable representation with the SAT verification QR code; customer order page, signed link and XML attachment on the order e-mails.
PAC drivers for Facturama (API Web) and Facturapi on the merchant's own account; retries reuse the folio and look the invoice up first.
Connection page with encrypted credentials, test and live mode and a connection test; job queue with retries and back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.
Multi-Vendor: marketplace owner mode or one PAC account and issuer per vendor.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. First release.
Is this a PAC? Does it stamp my invoices?
No. The add-on builds and checks the CFDI and sends it to the PAC account that you choose and pay for (Facturama or Facturapi). The PAC seals it with your CSD and stamps it. The add-on stores the result.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one PAC account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Is the invoice valid for the SAT?
The add-on validates the XML against the published CFDI 4.0 schema before sending and the PAC stamps it. Whether an invoice is correct for your business (SAT keys, tax rates, regime, deadlines) is your responsibility; check it with your accountant and test in your PAC's sandbox first.
Which taxes are supported?
IVA 16%, 8% (frontera norte), 0%, exempt (Facturama only) and not subject, and an optional IEPS rate per product (Facturama only). Withholdings are not supported in this version.
What about orders in USD or other currencies?
The invoice is issued in the currency of the order with the exchange rate (TipoCambio) calculated from the MXN currency of your store: add MXN to the store currencies. Orders in MXN need no rate.
Can a customer ask for an invoice after the order was included in a global invoice?
Cancel the global invoice with motive 04, issue the individual CFDI, then create the global invoice again for the period (see Usage).
Where are my credentials stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving.
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to your PAC only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
What happens when the PAC is down?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). The same folio and date are reused, and the PAC is asked whether the invoice exists before a retry, so nothing is stamped twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new documents). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
