Packeta Shipping & Labels: Packeta pick-up points at checkout, packets, labels and tracking from the order page1 of 7
What it does
For stores that ship to Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Packeta is the leading pick-up point network in that region. The add-on offers three shipping methods, pick-up point, partner pick-up point and home delivery, with the price you set on each, and connects them to your own Packeta client account (API key, API password and sender). Packeta has no sandbox, so testing uses a testing sender. You need an approved Packeta client account.
How it works
Enter your API key, password and sender, test the connection and set a price on each shipping method. The customer picks a point on the Packeta map. In the order, Create label sends the packet to Packeta and stores the label; home delivery packets get the carrier label when the carrier provides it, otherwise the Packeta label. Status follows by cron every hour and, if you ask Packeta for it, by signed push events. Failed jobs are retried automatically and listed in the log.
Features
Credentials stored encrypted, test and live credentials, one-click connection test
Job queue with automatic retries and a log with filters and CSV export
Works with cron (command line or secret address), no long requests during checkout
Multi-Vendor: one marketplace account or one account per vendor
Pick-up points and Z-BOXes with the Packeta widget, checked on the server before they are saved with the order and shown on invoices
Home delivery with the carrier id per country and the address split into street and house number
Cash on delivery and packet value in CZK, EUR, HUF or RON with the amount rounding Packeta documents
Labels in PDF (six layouts) or ZPL (203 or 300 dpi), carrier labels with the Packeta label as fallback, merged PDF of selected packets
Tracking by cron and signed Packeta push events, cancel while Packeta has not received the packet

Requirements
Platform
CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later
Requirement
Administrator access to the store's admin panel
Requirement
A Packeta client account that is approved for creating packets (until onboarding is finished the API answers "The client account is not approved for posting parcels"). In the Packeta client section open Support and note the API key (16 characters) and the API password (the long secret; do not confuse them: the widget uses the key only, the packet API uses the password). Under Senders note the sender indication of the e-shop. If you want money from cash on delivery in another currency, set up the currency conversion and a bank account for it in the client section
Requirement
Packeta has no sandbox. Testing uses your production account; no charges apply until a packet physically enters the Packeta network. Packeta suggests a dedicated testing sender; the add-on's Test mode is for that
Requirement
A cron job on your server (see step 7)
Core changes
None. Hooks and template overrides only

Initial release: Packeta (Zásilkovna) REST/XML integration for Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Shipping services Packeta pick-up point (pick-up points and Z-BOXes), Packeta partner pick-up point and Packeta home delivery, with the customer price, free-shipping threshold, countries and weight limit set on each shipping method.
Pick-up point picker at the checkout with the Packeta widget v6; every selection is validated on the server with Packeta's validation endpoint; the point is stored with the order, shown on documents, and the point of EU Pickup Points & Parcel Lockers is reused.
Packets from the order page or at an order status: recipient, point or address, weight, value and cash on delivery in the destination currency, phone and name normalisation, sender indication.
Labels: Packeta label (PDF in six layouts, ZPL at 203 or 300 dpi) and carrier label (A6, PDF or ZPL) with the Packeta label as fallback; merged PDF of selected packets; barcode and tracking link on the order and in a CS-Cart shipment; cancel before Packeta receives the packet.
Status follow-up by cron (packetStatus) and signed Packeta push tracking events (HMAC-SHA256); Multi-Vendor owner mode or one account per vendor.
Connection page with encrypted credentials, test and live credentials and a connection test.
Job queue with retries and back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. First release.
Which countries does it cover?
Packeta destinations Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania: pick-up points, Z-BOXes and home delivery, with the carrier ids of the official carrier list. Pick-up points of Packeta's partner carriers can be offered with the carrier ids you configure. Customs declarations (outside the EU) are not covered in 1.0.0.
Do I get the real Packeta price at checkout?
No. Packeta has no price list for an e-shop's customers: your prices come from your contract. You enter the price you charge on each shipping method (with an optional free-shipping threshold).
Is there a sandbox?
Packeta has none. You test with your production account; nothing is charged until a packet physically enters the Packeta network, and Packeta suggests a dedicated testing sender. Cancel test packets before you hand them over.
Does it work with EU Pickup Points & Parcel Lockers?
Yes. If an order was placed with the Packeta method of that add-on, its stored point is used for the packet. Without it, this add-on shows its own pick-up point picker.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one Packeta account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Where are my credentials stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving. The API key is public by design (the checkout widget uses it in the browser).
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to Packeta only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
What happens when Packeta is down?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and no packet is created twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new packets, rates or labels). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
Add a released add-on to this order and save 15% on it. It uses the same edition and store domain.
