Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the website https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com (the "Store") and to every order placed there. The Store is operated by Kavio Labs Software Limited, a company registered in [JURISDICTION] under number [COMPANY_NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED_ADDRESS] ("Kavio Labs", "we", "us").

By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms. Further documents form part of them:

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Our products are tools for running an online store, so we sell to businesses. If you order as a consumer, the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence still apply, and nothing in these Terms limits them.

2. Your account

  • Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity in your account.
  • Give us accurate information, especially your billing country and, for businesses in the EU, your VAT number. We use them to charge the correct tax.
  • We may suspend an account that is used to break these Terms or the License Agreement, or to commit fraud.

3. Products and services

  • Add-ons are software for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. They are licensed, not sold. You get a license for one installation in the edition you choose, with the update and support period shown at checkout. The License Agreement governs your use.
  • Services include installation, express installation, priority support, theme compatibility work and customization hours. Their scope is described on the product page.
  • Custom development is quoted separately and governed by the Custom Development Terms.

Product pages list the compatible CS-Cart versions, editions and PHP versions. Please check them before you buy. "Compatible" means we have tested the add-on on those versions with a standard CS-Cart theme (Responsive, Bright or Nova). We cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party themes, modified core files or other add-ons.

4. Prices, taxes and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars and are shown before tax. Applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout, based on your billing country and VAT status.
  • We publish the same list prices here and on the CS-Cart Marketplace. Cart-level offers, such as a discount on a second license or on add-ons bought together, apply only in this Store.
  • You pay by card, processed by Stripe, or by bank transfer on request (for example for businesses that pay by invoice). We never see or store your full card number. A card order is confirmed once the payment succeeds. A bank transfer order is confirmed, and its license keys issued, once we have received the transfer and marked the order as paid.
  • We may change prices at any time. A price change never affects an order that is already paid.
  • An invoice for every order is available in your account.

5. Delivery

  • License keys and downloads are available in My account → Licenses immediately after the payment is confirmed. This completes delivery of the add-on.
  • Services start within the period stated on the product page, once we have the access details we need from you.
  • Because add-ons are digital content delivered immediately, you ask us to start delivery before any statutory withdrawal period ends. Where the law requires it, you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once the download is made available. This does not affect our voluntary Refund Policy.

6. Renewals

Licenses are never renewed automatically, and we do not store your card for future charges. Renewal is optional: you buy it in your account, at the price shown there. Before your update period ends, we send reminders 30, 7 and 0 days in advance.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • share, resell or publish license keys, downloads or the source code of our add-ons, except as the License Agreement allows;
  • attack, overload or try to bypass the security of the Store or the help desk;
  • use the Store for unlawful purposes;
  • upload malware or content that infringes the rights of others in support tickets or forms.

8. Intellectual property

The Store, our add-ons, documentation, screenshots, covers and brand belong to Kavio Labs Software Limited or its licensors.

CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor are trademarks of Simtech Ltd. Other product names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or integration. Kavio Labs is an independent developer, not affiliated with Simtech Ltd.

9. Warranty and liability

  • We provide our add-ons and services with reasonable care and skill, and we fix defects as described in the Support Policy. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, everything is provided "as is", without other warranties. This includes fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation.
  • Always back up your store before you install or update any add-on.
  • We are not liable for:
    • indirect or consequential loss;
    • loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill;
    • losses caused by third-party services, such as payment gateways, Google, Meta or hosting providers.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service concerned in the 12 months before the claim.
  • None of these limits apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to an order is the one published when the order was placed. We announce material changes by e-mail or in your account at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW]. The courts of [COURTS] have jurisdiction. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
