CJ Dropshipping Connector: Import CJ products with variants, apply price rules and send orders to CJ once1 of 7
What it does
For stores and marketplaces that sell CJ Dropshipping products. The add-on connects your CS-Cart admin panel to the CJ Dropshipping API with your own CJ API key: you search the catalogue, import products into your categories, and the order flow to CJ runs from your order statuses. A free CJ account is enough to start. CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.
How it works
Paste your CJ API key and test the connection in test mode. Search the catalogue, tick products and import them. The shopper sees one option with the CJ variants and, if you add the CJ shipping method, a freight price from the CJ quote. When an order reaches the status you chose, its CJ products are sent to CJ. CJ tracking numbers come back as CS-Cart shipments. Failed jobs are retried automatically and visible in the log.
Features
Catalogue search by keyword, warehouse country and price, import with variants, images and a cleaned description
Price rules: markup, fixed amount, endings, minimum price, list price, currency conversion, overrides per category and product
Stock and price sync by schedule and CJ webhooks, products taken off sale are disabled
One CJ order per CS-Cart order, also after timeouts, repeated clicks and cron overlaps
Shipping method at checkout from the CJ freight quote of the cart
Tracking numbers become CS-Cart shipments, optional order status changes and customer e-mail
Multi-Vendor: one CJ account for the marketplace or one per vendor, strictly separated data
API key stored encrypted, job queue with retries, log with filters and CSV export

Search the CJ Dropshipping catalogue (keyword, warehouse country, price range) and import products with all variants (one option with the real CJ variant combinations), images, weight and a cleaned description; importing again updates the same product.
Price rules: percentage markup, fixed amount, endings (x.99, x.95, x.90, whole number), minimum price, list price, USD conversion, overrides per CJ category and per product.
Stock and price sync by schedule and from CJ webhooks (PRODUCT, VARIANT, STOCK); stock buffer and cap; products taken off sale are disabled and enabled again.
Orders: the CJ products of a CS-Cart order are sent to CJ at a chosen order status (or by hand), exactly once per order and warehouse (order number recorded first, lookup before every create, lock per order); create-only or pay-from-balance; cancel deletes the unpaid CJ order.
Shipping method at checkout from the CJ freight quote of the cart (cheapest or fastest) with a shipping markup; the same strategy picks the CJ shipping method of an order.
Tracking back by webhook (ORDER, LOGISTIC) and polling as a CS-Cart shipment with the tracking number, optional order status changes and customer e-mail.
Multi-Vendor: one CJ account for the marketplace or one per vendor; every record scoped by company_id; queue-wide actions administrator-only.
Safety: emoji and invalid UTF-8 removed from supplier text, HTML descriptions sanitised, image download only from CJ hosts over https with a public-address pin, size and type checks.
Connection page with the API key stored encrypted (the webhook signing key is learned from CJ and stored encrypted), test and live (sandbox flag) mode, job queue with retries and back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.
Upgrade Synchronizer and domain-bound licence client.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2, CS-Cart 4.17.2. First release.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes, in CS-Cart (Ultimate) and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one CJ account for everyone or let each vendor connect their own; vendors only ever see their own products and orders.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Do I need a paid CJ account?
No. A free CJ account with an API key works. Free accounts may call the API once per second, so the add-on checks a small batch of products per run; set "CJ requests per second" to your account level to go faster.
Where is my CJ API key stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal it. It is never shown again after saving and never written to the log.
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to CJ Dropshipping only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
Can an order reach CJ twice?
No. The order is recorded with a fixed CJ order number before it is sent, CJ is asked for that number before every create, and a timeout is followed by a lookup, not by a second create.
Who pays CJ?
By default the add-on creates the CJ order and you pay it in your CJ account. You can let it pay from your CJ balance instead; if the balance is too low the order is marked failed with CJ's message and you can send it again after topping up.
What does the sandbox do?
CJ has no separate test host. Test mode sends orders with CJ's sandbox flag: payment is simulated and nothing is fulfilled.
Why is my emoji missing from a product name?
CS-Cart tables store three bytes per character, so four-byte characters such as emoji cannot be saved. The add-on removes them from names and descriptions instead of cutting the text.
What happens when CJ is down?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new imports, checkout rates, syncs or order pushes). Work already under way, including tracking, is still finished.
How do I get updates and support?
Install the new package over the old one (Installation). Contact us through https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com.
