What it does
Shopee is an online marketplace with shops in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Brazil. This add-on is for stores that already run on CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor and want Shopee as one more sales channel, for one shop or for every vendor of a marketplace. It needs a free Shopee Open Platform developer account, which you register yourself, and the shop owner authorizes it once.
How it works
Enter the partner ID and key of your app in test mode, open the authorization link as the shop owner and test the connection; then switch to live. Map categories, attributes and prices once. Products are created with their images; paid orders are imported; creating a shipment arranges pick-up or drop-off on Shopee or sends your own tracking number. Failed jobs are retried and stay visible in the log.

Initial release on the shared Marketplace Hub, for the Shopee Open Platform v2 API.
Connection page: partner ID and partner key (encrypted, test and live), API host (global, China mainland, Brazil), sandbox host, shop, handover method and package size; "Test connection".
Shop authorization: the open.shopee.com/auth link (legacy signed auth_partner link as an option), redirect URL with a signed state valid for one hour, manual code fallback, access tokens renewed in the background (refresh token rotation under a database lock), one token set per shop.
Items: category tree, attribute tree, brand and limits of the category, image upload, add_item; stock and price by item SKU (search_item, update_stock, update_price), whole numbers for regions without decimals, currency per shop region.
Orders: windows of at most 15 days with a cursor, get_order_detail with optional fields, unpaid and pending orders wait, status follows Shopee.
Fulfilment: get_shipping_parameter and ship_order (pick-up, drop-off, non-integrated with the seller's tracking number), tracking number read back, cancellation with a reason (also partial).
Returns list with approval of refund-only requests.
Push (webhook) endpoint with the documented signature check and an empty 2xx answer.
Job queue with retries and back-off, cron (command line and secret address), log viewer with CSV export.
Multi-Vendor: owner mode or one shop per vendor; a vendor maps and lists only its own products and cannot run the shared job queue.
A listing job that stops half way (rate limit, timeout) never creates an item twice: every item is saved right after Shopee created it and looked up by item SKU before it is created.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. First release.
Do I need a Shopee developer account?
Yes. Shopee only allows API access through an app registered on the free Shopee Open Platform (https://open.shopee.com). You register it yourself; the add-on uses your partner ID and partner key, so your data never passes through Kavio Labs.
Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Yes. The add-on supports CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one Shopee shop for everyone or let each vendor connect their own.
Which Shopee countries?
The ones the Shopee Open Platform serves for your app and shop, for example Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico. Prices go out in the currency of the shop; set the exchange rate on the Rules tab or use the store's currency table.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
Where are my credentials stored?
In your own database, encrypted. The key is derived from your store's secret in config.php, so a database dump alone does not reveal them. They are never shown again after saving. Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted too.
Does it send data to Kavio Labs?
No. The add-on talks to Shopee only. The license check sends your domain name to the Kavio Labs license server once a day (Kavio Labs downloads).
Are product variations supported?
Not in 1.0: items are created without variations. For items that already have variations on Shopee, stock and price are pushed per variation matched by the variation (model) SKU.
Who arranges delivery?
Shopee's logistics channels (pick-up or drop-off, as you choose on the Connection page) or, for non-integrated channels, your own carrier with its tracking number. Print air waybills in Shopee Seller Centre.
What happens when Shopee is down or throttles?
Jobs fail, wait and are retried automatically (5 minutes up to 12 hours). Nothing is lost and nothing is sent twice.
What happens when the license expires?
New work stops (no new listings, syncs or shipments). Work already under way is still finished.
How do I get updates?
Install the new package over the old one. See Installation.
