What it does
Shoppers search for "Samsung camcorders" or "red leather sofas", not for a category. CS-Cart shows those products through the filters, but filtered pages are noindex and share the category title, so they never rank. SEO Filter Landing Pages turns the combinations you choose into real pages under URLs like /camcorders/samsung-camcorders/, each with its own heading, meta data and texts. For CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor stores with product filters, in any language.
How it works
In Website, SEO filter landing pages, add a page: choose the category, check the filter values or paste a filtered URL from your storefront, and enter the H1. Add intro and bottom text, a banner and meta data per language. Or let the bulk generator create pages for every filter value with templates like {values} {category}. Shoppers see the filtered products with your heading and texts; the canonical link, breadcrumb, hreflang and sitemap point to the new URL. Import and export as CSV.

Landing pages for category and filter combinations with an own clean URL (category URL + URL name), H1, meta title, description and keywords, intro and bottom text and a banner, per language.
Canonical link to the landing page, index or noindex per page, hreflang links, breadcrumb entry; the core noindex of filtered pages is lifted only for landing pages.
Filtered category URLs of a page's combination redirect (301) to it, or keep their URL with a canonical link; links to the combination are written as the landing URL.
Bulk generator (one page per filter value or per pair of filters) with templates, preview, minimum products and update of existing pages.
"Popular searches" link block on category and landing pages; sitemap entries through the core Google sitemap add-on.
Admin list with problems check, editor with filter picker and "paste a filtered URL", CSV export and import.
Domain-bound license check with the License card, badge and Check now; self-healing upgrades (Upgrade synchronizer).
Tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.21.2. First release.
Why not just let search engines index the filtered pages?
The core SEO add-on marks every filtered category page noindex and points its canonical link to the plain category, for good reason: thousands of filter combinations would be thin duplicate pages. This add-on makes only the combinations you choose indexable, with their own URL, heading and text, and keeps all other combinations noindex.
Does it change the core SEO names or redirects?
No. Landing page URLs are recognized before the core SEO add-on looks at the URL, and the add-on keeps its own table. Core SEO names, redirects, canonical rules of other pages and the robots.txt are not changed.
What happens to existing links to the filtered URLs?
With the default setting they redirect (301) to the landing page, so their ranking signals move to the new URL. Sorting and paging parameters are kept.
Does it work with SEO Pro Suite and SEO Meta Templates?
Yes. The landing page sets its own meta data after SEO Meta Templates, and SEO Pro Suite reads its canonical link, title and index rule, so the social cards and structured data describe the landing page. The template syntax is the same in both add-ons.
Does it work with Multi-Vendor?
Yes. Landing pages are created by the marketplace administrator and work on every storefront where their category is shown. Vendor pages (the vendor's own product list) are not changed.
Does it work with CS-Cart Ultimate storefronts?
Yes. A page belongs to the storefront of its category, and the settings can differ per storefront.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x on PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3 (as your CS-Cart version supports).
Will it slow down my store?
No. A landing page is a normal category page with a few extra texts; the lookups are cached and invalidated when you edit a page. Nothing is written while customers browse, so the 4.21 full page cache keeps working.
How do I get updates?
Updates are free during your updates and support period (12 months, extendable). Download the new version from your account on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com or install it from the Upgrade center, and upload it over the installed one. Pages and settings are kept.
What happens without a valid license?
Without a valid license (no key after the 14-day start period, an invalid or revoked key, a domain the license does not cover, or no successful check for 14 days), landing page URLs redirect to the normal filtered category pages, so no link breaks; their texts, meta data, canonical and index rules, the "Popular searches" links and the sitemap entries are switched off. Your pages are kept, and everything is back once the license is valid again.
The admin panel shows a license notice.
Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → SEO Filter Landing Pages: the License card at the top says what is wrong. Fix it on the License tab and click Check now. See License.
Does the add-on work on my staging copy?
Yes. Subdomains of your licensed domain and local development hosts (localhost, private IP addresses, .local, .test) are covered by the same license.
What happens if your license server is down?
Nothing changes for 14 days: the add-on keeps working and retries every hour. Only if no check succeeds for 14 days is it switched off until the next successful check.
Does the license check slow down my storefront?
No. The check runs only in the admin panel or from cron, at most once a day, never while customers browse or check out.
