What it does

For shops with physical stores, showrooms, pickup counters or dealers. The add-on builds on the core "Stores and pickup points", so you keep one store list, and checkout pickup and warehouses keep working. It adds structured opening hours with split shifts, past-midnight hours, holidays and special days. It also adds services with icons, a photo, contact details and page texts per store. Works in CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 to 4.21.

How it works

Admin

Edit a store and fill in the new "Hours & store page" tab: hours, special days, services, photo, SEO name and business type. Set holidays for all stores in one list, or import everything by CSV. Vendors edit their own locations. Shopper: the finder at /stores/ filters as you type. Near me and an optional address search sort stores by distance, with radius, open now, service, country and seller filters. Cards and map markers stay in sync, with a list/map switch on phones. Blocks show a finder, one store's hours or a vendor's stores.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

No. The default map is OpenStreetMap through Leaflet, which ships with the add-on. Directions buttons open Google Maps with a plain link that needs no key. You can switch to Google Maps with your own key whenever you like.

Is the public OpenStreetMap tile server allowed for my shop?

It suits normal store-finder traffic as long as the attribution stays visible. If your traffic is high, enter a tile URL from a commercial provider or your own tile server in Map tile URL.

Does the add-on replace the core "Stores and pickup points"?

No. It builds on it. Your stores, checkout pickup and the warehouses add-on keep working. Only the storefront page of the core add-on is redirected to the new store finder, and you can switch that off.

Why does "Open now" not appear on a store?

The store has no opening hours yet. Fill in the Hours & store page tab. Stores without hours show no badge rather than a wrong one.

Which time zone is used?

The shop time zone (Settings → Appearance → Time zone). You can override it per store. The visitor's own time zone does not matter: a store in Vienna shows as open by Vienna time.

Does the browser ask every visitor for their location?

No. It asks only when a visitor clicks Near me.

Does it work with the full page cache of CS-Cart 4.21?

Yes. The pages are the same for every guest and are cached like category pages. Everything personal is calculated in the browser.

Can I import my stores from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Use the core Stores and pickup points import. The add-on adds columns for opening hours (Mo-Fr 09:00-18:00; Sa 10:00-14:00), special days, services, postcode, contact details and page texts. See Usage.

Can vendors manage their own store hours?

Yes, on Multi-Vendor. Vendors edit the hours, special days, services and page of their own locations. The administrator manages the services list and the settings.

What is stored about visitors?

Nothing personal. Address searches are cached by query text. A counter per IP and hour (stored as a hash) limits uncached lookups and is deleted after two hours.

What happens if the license is missing?

The store finder and the store pages switch off and the core stores page works as before. All your data stays saved.
