Vendor Plan Limits

What it does

For Multi-Vendor marketplaces that sell plans. Core vendor plans limit products, revenue and categories, but not how much a vendor uploads per product. This add-on adds limits per plan: images per product, images in the full description, short description and promo text, size per image, attachments per product and size per attachment. For Multi-Vendor only, on 4.17.2 to 4.21.x. It limits product media; Vendor Storefront Pro, a separate add-on, controls shop page sections and featured products.

How it works

Enter limits for all plans on one page, or in the plan editor. Vendors see a meter on the product page, such as 6 of 8 images. Over the limit, new images are refused and text is still saved. Replacing an image is always allowed. The server checks every path: the panel, direct requests, the APIs, bulk edit and CSV import. Products above a limit after a downgrade stay online unchanged; the vendor can edit, replace or remove, but not add.

Compatibility

We list only the builds we install and test on. “Tested” means the full test plan was run on that build; “Supported” means the build is inside the supported range and uses the same hooks.
