Built for
Mobile App Builder: your store as an Android and iOS app with a native tab bar and push1 of 10
What it does
For CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor stores that want their own app in Google Play and the App Store. Instead of a separate app that only knows the stock API, the app shows your live storefront, so every theme change, add-on, promotion and payment method works on day one. Native parts make it feel like an app: tab bar with cart badge, splash screen, offline screen, pull to refresh, share sheet, rating prompt and a notification inbox.
How it works
Set the app name, colours, icon, splash logo and tabs in Marketing, Mobile app, and see a live phone preview. Choose the website parts to hide inside the app. Upload your Firebase service account for push. Download the source project and build it in Android Studio and Xcode, or let a developer publish it with your developer accounts. Tabs, colours and rules update from your store at every app start, no new build needed.

Admin pages under Marketing → Mobile app: overview with launch checklist and statistics, app design, navigation, push notifications, campaigns, devices, deep links, build and publish; live phone preview of the storefront in app mode.
Source project download: Android (Java, Gradle, target API 36, min API 24) and iOS (Swift, UIKit, iOS 15+, beta) projects with name, package/bundle ID, version, colours, launcher/adaptive/round icons, iOS icon, splash screen, tab bar, App Links / Universal Links / custom URL scheme, BUILD.md.
Native shell: tab bar with live cart and inbox badges, splash screen, offline screen with retry, pull to refresh, progress bar, file uploads, share sheet, in-app rating prompt, required-version screen, external links in the browser, checkout redirects kept in the app.
Push campaigns via Firebase Cloud Messaging HTTP v1 with the store's own service account (stored encrypted): image and link, audiences (all, Android, iOS, signed-in customers, guests, user groups, one customer), send now or schedule, stepped sending, cron, sent/failed/opened counters, test push.
Order status pushes for selected statuses, signed-in customers and guests who ordered in the app.
Native notification inbox that also works without push permission.
Association files /.well-known/assetlinks.json and /.well-known/apple-app-site-association served by the add-on.
Hide storefront parts inside the app only (CSS selectors); markup identical for every visitor (full page cache safe).
Live configuration endpoint: tabs, colours, hidden parts, link rules and required versions change without a new build.
CS-Cart (Ultimate): one app per storefront. Multi-Vendor: one marketplace app, administrators only.
Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2. First release.
Is this a native app or a website in a frame?
Both, on purpose. The pages are your live storefront in the system web view (Android WebView, iOS WKWebView), so everything you have on the website works in the app. Navigation, splash screen, offline screen, notifications, the inbox, sharing, rating and deep links are native code.
Will Apple accept it?
Apple's guideline 4.2 rejects apps that are only a repackaged website. This app adds native navigation, push notifications with an inbox, offline handling, sharing and Universal Links, and the Build and publish page gives you App Review notes that list them. Apple decides every review on its own; we cannot promise approval. Also offer account deletion in your store and a demo customer account for the reviewer.
Do I need to publish it myself?
The app is published under your own Google Play and Apple developer accounts. You or your developer build it from the downloaded source project with Android Studio and Xcode (a Mac is needed for iOS).
What does push cost?
Firebase Cloud Messaging is free. The add-on sends with your own Firebase project; there is no fee from us per message or per device.
Do I have to rebuild the app when I change something?
Not for tabs, colours, hidden parts, link rules or the required version: the app reads them from your store at every start. A new build is needed for the app name, icon, splash screen, package name and a new version number.
Which payment methods work in the app?
The same as on your website. Redirects to payment pages and 3-D Secure stay inside the app and return to the store.
My theme header is not hidden in the app.
Add your theme's selector on Navigation → Hide these parts, for example .ty-header or #header. Use the phone preview to check it.
Multi-Vendor: do vendors get their own app?
No, the marketplace has one app with all vendors, including vendor storefronts and microstores. Push campaigns are sent by marketplace administrators only.
CS-Cart with several storefronts?
Each storefront has its own app configuration, campaigns and devices. Select the storefront in the admin panel first.
What data does the app store?
A random installation ID, the push token, platform, OS and app version, the signed-in customer and the last opening time. It does not read contacts, location or advertising IDs.
Add a released add-on to this order and save 15% on it. It uses the same edition and store domain.
