by Kavio Labs · for CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor
Top and bottom bars with rotating messages, a promotion countdown, a coupon to copy and targeting by page, group and country.
For every store that runs sales or offers free shipping. A bar at the top or fixed at the bottom shows rotating messages with links, a countdown to the end of a promotion and a coupon customers copy with one tap. Choose the pages, customer groups and countries, start and end dates and colours. Visitors can close a bar.
Open Marketing, Announcement bars and press New bar. Enter the messages and links, pick colours, a coupon and a promotion for the countdown. Choose the position, dates, pages, customer groups and countries. Save, and the bar shows on the storefront. The country comes from a CDN header such as Cloudflare or from the profile of a signed-in customer.

Tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2, CS-Cart 4.17.2. First release.
The page gets the bars as a small block of data and one small script. A request to the store happens only when a bar targets customer groups or countries.
No. Messages are plain text with an optional link, so a message cannot break the page.
From a CDN header such as Cloudflare CF-IPCountry, or from the profile of a signed-in customer. There is no paid lookup service.
Not in this version. Use customer groups for guests or signed-in customers.
Check the dates, the pages, the groups and the countries. A visitor who closed it does not see it until you save the bar again. Only the highest priority bar shows per position.
It needs the index:body template hook, which the Responsive theme and themes built on it have.
Add a released add-on to this order and save 15% on it. It uses the same edition and store domain.
