Dock is a storefront theme for electronics, computing, gaming and phone stores, and for any large catalogue whose shoppers search more than they browse: appliances, parts, office supplies, tools, B2B.
Four styles change the whole frame: Graphite (dark sidebar, blue), Daylight (all light, orange), Midnight (all dark, cyan) and Mint (green sidebar, light store).
Four styles, one theme
Each style changes the ground, bands, type weight and card treatment, not only the accent colour. Open any of them in the live demo.
Install the package in Add-ons: it adds the Dock theme without touching your storefront. Activate Dock in Website, Themes and pick a style. The next admin page adds the demo store, so every window is filled at once; replace it step by step.
The sidebar counts come from your categories, the spec chips from product features, the countdowns from promotion end dates and the suggestions from your catalogue.

Does Dock work with my add-ons?
Yes. Dock is a child of the standard Responsive theme and does not override product, cart or checkout templates, so add-on hooks keep working. Kavio Labs add-ons are styled to match each style.
Is Dock only for electronics stores?
No. Any store whose shoppers search more than they browse fits: appliances, auto and machine parts, office and IT supplies, tools and hardware, books and media, B2B catalogues with deep specs. The departments are your categories and the spec chips are your features. Choose Daylight or Mint for a lighter, friendlier store.
Where is the header?
There is none on wide screens: the sidebar on the left replaces it (logo, search, departments, account). Cart, checkout, account and sign-in pages use a slim top bar instead, and tablets and phones get an app bar with a bottom tab bar.
The palette shows no suggestions.
Suggestions appear after two letters. With the Instant Live Search add-on, check that it is enabled for the storefront; without it Dock uses its own suggestions, which need active products with names that contain the typed text. Without JavaScript the palette is a normal search form.
Why is there no countdown on a deal?
Countdowns need a catalog promotion with an end date on that product. Without an end date the sale price shows without a timer: Dock never shows invented timers.
Why does a product row show no spec chips?
Spec chips are the first three features with Show in product list. Short values work best ("512 GB", "Wi-Fi 7").
How many departments fit in the sidebar?
About 12 without scrolling; more departments scroll inside the column. Long names end with "…" and show in full on hover.
Can shoppers turn off the docked cart?
The cart is docked from 1440 px wide and opens as a drawer on smaller screens; the Checkout and View cart buttons are always in it.
What happens without a licence?
A new installation works for 14 days. After that, without a valid licence, the storefront shows the standard Responsive look; cart, checkout and orders keep working and visitors see no message. The admin panel tells you why and how to fix it. See Configuration.
Does the theme work on my staging copy?
Yes. Subdomains of your licensed domain and local development hosts are covered by the same licence.
What happens if your licence server is down?
Nothing visible: the theme keeps the last verified result and keeps working for 14 days while it retries.
Will an update overwrite my changes?
No. Files you changed are kept (a notice lists them), and layouts and blocks are never replaced.
A Swiss-editorial storefront theme with a shop-window homepage, oversized type and four bold styles, built on Responsive so every add-on keeps working.
A department-store theme for large catalogues: colour-coded departments, a department list beside the hero, tabbed product blocks and a sticky buy box.
